Threat levels?

#1
The British are feeling the pinch in relation to recent bombings and have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved."

Soon, though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even" A Bit Cross." Londoners have not been "A Bit Cross" since the blitz in 1940 when tea supplies all but ran out. Terrorists have been re-categorized from "Tiresome" to a "Bloody Nuisance." The last time the British issued a "Bloody Nuisance" warning level was during the great fire of 1666.

Also, the French government announced yesterday that it has raised its terror alert level from "Run" to "Hide." The only two higher levels in France are "Surrender" and "Collaborate."  The rise was precipitated by a recent fire that destroyed France 's white flag factory, effectively paralyzing the country's military capability.

It's not only the English and French that are on a heightened level of alert. Italy has increased the alert level from "Shout Loudly and Excitedly" to "Elaborate Military Posturing."  Two more levels remain: "Ineffective Combat Operations" and "Change Sides."

The Germans also increased their alert state from "Disdainful Arrogance" to "Dress in Uniform and Sing Marching Songs." They also have two higher levels: "Invade a Neighbor" and "Lose."

Belgians, on the other hand, are all on holiday as usual, and the only threat they are worried about is NATO pulling out of Brussels.

Yea well, we've been dealing with terrorists for longer than 6 years so excuse us if we don't go above 'peeved' that often. Of course you lot supporting and financing them didn't help.

This tread is supposed to be humorous! Not serious at all. Relax! Don't take things so serious. If it was a serious post it wouldn't have been placed here. :p

Cos I'm crap at adding attachments, sorted now though.

Ok fair enough, but where's the Yank threat levels? We've got to be up near the "get a posse and go a lynching" stage?

Chri$t, I did ask for it didn't I?

So you guys are at Yellow (elevated)? What happens to the colour blind people?

You want to do the same as the pic I posted above, but with maybe John Wayne? John Wayne level one, smoking a cigar all the way up to John Wayne level 5, beating the poo out of some injun/VC/Irish bloke (old film).

Color blind people ask a non-color blind person, what the color is!

Ok, since you also asked for this!

 There you go, that's more like it. John Wayne 'Tiger Striped up' in the 'Green Berets' if I'm not mistaken?

I'd rate his look at threat level 2, concerned but not reaching for the M16 just yet.

Correct Ghilly!

John Wayne was also made an Honorary member of the US Army's Special Forces Regiment. Of course, so is LTC Martha Ray. (Maggie to us.)

The 'Ballard of the Green Beret,' as written by SSG Barry Sadler, is also the SF Regimental song. We American Special Forces soldiers, both active and retired stand at attention at military events, such as dine ins, etc, when it is played.

Martha Ray seems a good choice, but John Wayne? It wasn't just cause he stared in that film was it? Don't tell me that Chuck Noris is an honorary Seal :?

I think we made a guy called Jimmy Savil an honorary Para, but he was good a fixing things so fair enough.

As far as I know Chuck Norris isn't an honory SEAL, he may be any honorary Texas Ranger though, I haven't checked that! ;)

No, that wasn't the only reason JW was made an honorary "Green Beret." He also, visited many isolated SF A team camps in the hinderlands of Vietnam and brought some good liquid refresments with him. He also did a lot for the families of KIA SF soldiers and the SF community in general.

Yes, Maggie was a very Special lady!

Chuck might not be a Seal, but he was Delta in "The Delta Force (1986)" and "Delta Force 2: Operation Stranglehold - 1990". "The Delta Force" also had Lee Marvin helping out has his deranged grandad. Is it me, or does Chuck only have one expression :?

JW got the beers in, well why didn't you say that in the first place. That I can understand. My lot would have made my granny an honorary member if she'd brought a round

Take out the 'g' and you've got Seal, why didn't I think of that :) He was also a cook on an big boat as well. Do you have to be a cook to be a seal?

Not sure if they'll go for your threat level plan, maybe the DHS sofa would sway em though.
