This weekend the Battlefields Trust are running their annual conference on British Battlefields at the National Army Museum. We will be presenting the status on the eight battlefields identified by the English Heritage commission report "Battlefields at Risk" as at High risk of loss. Key note speakers are Robert Hardy on Sat 14th and Richard Holmes on the 15th. You also hear other published military historians on their battles, at risk from bulldozers, treasure hunters or intensive agriculture.
