Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Yes it's been posted before and it's the work of our very own RFUK. Not to worry about a repost - it makes me cry whenever I watch it...

  2. Well RFUK deservers a big hug from all, for stiring peoples emotions, as they should be.
If some just thought about these souls lost, these films make us all stop and think about them, more than news flashes will ever do.

  3. Aye.

    Poignant. Poignant. Poignant.

  4. Can i suggest to the great RFUK in his next moving film, use this tune

  8. Didn't make me cry, just made me f*cuking angy.

ps. ok it made me cry a bit.

  9. Slightly off topic, but this one makes me cry every time, it even uses the same music: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j1j_oEx1DkY

It is especially distressing when you know that poor Roger Williamson was alive in the car and was screaming 'David, get me out of here, get me out of here'

    RIP Roger and David.

For those who do not know, David Purley was a former Parachute Regiment Officer and was known personally to a few of our members here.

    Also try this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8HaQSGgibU

'Heroes and not made heroes because they succeed, merely they try while others do nothing'

  10. Made me cry too. It is a shame that conflicts seem to cause us to lose the best of our youth while the wasters live on without any apreciation for the sacrifices made to give them their freedom.

  11. I havent seen that video for months and the song came on whilst I was at the till in Asda yesterday. Proper had to bite them back.

  12. Someone should put this on TV at Prime Time so the public no the costs our lads are paying and why they need to show their complete support.

  13. Ord_Sgt

    Ord_Sgt RIP

This one gets me every time and really shows what the guys and girls are going though almost every day as well as the incredible courage shown by them all.

The tragedy is every life lost is one too many.

    Respect.
