  1. Hi,

I am trying to play hockey for a local civvie team, and was strongly advised to get Third Party Liability Insurance...

Can anyone recommend a company or has had a similiar thing happen to them?

    Cheers

  2. RE,

You shoudn't need to. If your local team is registered with a national governing body and you pay your mebership fees, then as a member of the club you are covered under their corporate policy whilst playing the game. Third Party liability does come in to play if you are officiating and the relevent Officials baord can provide proffesional advice.

If you are a casual player then you should consider your own accident insurance particularly as you are "Off Duty".

  3. Cheers, already have personal accident cover.

    Many thanks
