I have just reviewed an e-book sent to ARRSE but it warrants wide publication for those looking to change careers.

The book is by an experienced operator who has written a guide that covers everything you need to know to get started in this career.

It is written in an easy style and can be flicked through as time permits. If you are thinking of a change of career and especially if you want to enter the ROV world then it should be a must on your reading list.

His site is How to get started as an ROV Pilot - an eBook by author Bert Haddock and you can buy the book from there.

The pre requisites for that position are high due to the nature of the job .... generally the lads are knowledgeable in Electronics , Electrics with an extensive hydraulics background .

You need to be a good all rounder with those 3 skill's but all the best if any one gets a position offshore these day's !
