Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Posters of Che Guevara
    The Hawkwind song "Urban Guerilla"
Much of the fan merchandise at Old Firm matches
Most jukeboxes in Irish theme bars
    Celebrating 4th July
    Celebrating the Easter Rising

    Any more?
  2. Voting Labour?
  3. Not voting Liabour
  4. Guy Fawkes celebrations?
After all it is promoting/glorifying/condoning terrorism.
    Wear a 'Free Nelson Mandela ' T-shirt?
Wonder how long emmigration takes for Espana
  5. Being a soldier.
  6. These things will be made illegal?

    Are there any negative effects?
  7. actully guy fawkes celebrations legal under anti terroism legisatation were celebrating the terrorits got a careful community based punishment takeing into the account they were part of a religious minority that was oppresed 17th centuary stylee hang drawn and quatering

  8. No, I think Guy Fawkes is safe - the bit about him and his mates being RCs barely comes into most celebrations.

I don't know but this 90 days makes me think of 12 step programmes, wherein it is often said '90 meetings in 90 days', maybe Blair is actually starting a new 12 step programme called 'Terrorists Anonymous'

    1. We admitted we were powerless over our terrorism - that our lives had become unmanageable
    2. Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity
    3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood God
    4. Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves
    5. Admitted to God, to ourselves and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs
    6. Were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character
    7. Humbly asked God to remove our shortcomings
    8. Made a list of all persons we had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all
    9. Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others
    10. Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it
    11. Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God as we understood God, praying only for knowledge of God's will for us and the power to carry that out
    12. Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to other terrorists, and to practice these principles in all our affairs
  10. Nehustan - that is very clever and well spotted.
