Things that irritate me

Cabbage, Tenderheart or Savoy, in one inch strips. Frying pan , hot, decent size chunks of smokey bacon lardons+, cook till perfect as only bacon should be cooked, remove from the pan
Large knob of butter melted add the cabbage and stir it round the pan to coat all the strips , then add three table spoons of water , salt and loads of fresh ground black pepper stirred around again lower heat and cook until the bottoms of the cabbage are almost burned caramelised, , add lardons+ for two minutes to reheat , add a further knob of butter

works much the same with carrots, parsnips though you really have to roast or they turn to mush

I know this thread is things that irritate you , but decent cabbage will be one less thing for you moaning bastards to gripe about

Apparently the top news story of the day is 2 women gossiping online.

And let me welcome you all to 'What have I cooked'.

Why are the Kiwis waving a national flag that New Zealand as a Nation did not to adopt?
They voted to continue to use the flag they've used since it's inception.

Finding out that something I had thought to be abhorrent was actually quite nice.

I've often quietly laughed at @Lardbeast with his fixation on croc footwear . . . then I saw a pair on sale for £20 on Amazon, and bought them for use in the garden.

I hate to say it, but they are nice and comfortable.

SWMBO did comment that the design of yellow daisies was a bit on the feminine side, but I really don't care.

Your missus needs to get a razor on her legs as obviously a male of the species would never wear such things

People who ‘flip the bird’ at the camera when they’re having their picture taken.
It’s not edgy or hardcore, you just look like a childish idiot.

Knock offs from the choggy around two quid and do the job as well. The fashionistas and other victims of their own making may squeal about them but their angst merely enhances my tumescence.

Man Crocs.

And I really hope Major Sunray didnt pay anywhere near that for mine.

More so when when we did essentially bugger all for hers as we were going on holiday and she did say not too....Which went well.

Do you and @Lardbeast keep a tidy house together? Do you take turns to draw body hair on with a biro? Are there any other unmanly activities and interests you wish to admit to? Does one of you plump up the cushions whilst the other one arranges the flowers?

What if it is a response to a picture being taken without consent?

Let's just unpack that...
Another tosspot bit of jargon.
'blue sky thinking'....... I found HMPS to be a culprit for 'management speak'...too many direct entry graduate senior managers.. We used to have a 'bullsh1t bingo' game going for morning briefings to catch the latest buzzwords. We had one particular manager who was a definite post turtle...thick as a whale omelette, but useful inasmuch as he would say 'yes' to any ridiculous scheme thought up by the top brass and then be stupid enough to put his name to it, so there was a scapegoat for when it went wrong. We were in a morning meeting and we had to go round the table to say what we'd be doing for the day and the HR manager said she'd be conducting appraisal QA....got to the idiot and he piped up and said he'd be sitting in on the appraisal question and answer session......HR manager replies 'QA stands for quality assurance...'.....
