There's No Such Thing as a Free Lunch

The installation of 'free' solar panels is, apparently, causing problems for those who opted in to this scheme. The problem is that any householder using this scheme is effectively granting a lease to the energy company to use the roof space for a period of 25 years, therby potentially making their property unmortgageable for potential buyers.

Caveat emptor and all that stuff. Await with interest the squeals for compo from the suckers caught in this particular trap.
