The X Factor

#1
I understand that the X Factor is not paid to Colonels and above, and the rate of the X Factor tails off to very little for those Lt Cols at the top end of the pay scale.

Is this correct? Does anyone know the facts with regard to who gets and who does not get the X Factor?

No information on this is held in Armed Forces Pay Review Body Reports. Does anyone know where I can find out exactly what the X Factor is and who gets it?

My Bold.

I'm afraid you are mistaken. The X factor is mentioned 27 times in the AFPRB Report 2006.
