I think it is rare in the sense that they apparently came across the original footage serendipitously.

That is insane, if they tried that now health and safety honchos would explode.
Should at least have been wearing goggles. It's no joke getting a bit of ash in your eye.


The shooter was probably repeating to himself "Mouth, then ears. Mouth, then ears. Mouth, then ears..."

It sure makes the H&S brigade of nowadays look like a bunch of pussies. They would have a right fit in those days.

Don't let the Home Office see that, they might encourage it across all police forces, as a way of firstly cutting police manpower and secondly, those that only suffered minor 'flesh wounds' as a a result, ie missing ears, noses and lips, and/or developed nervous tics, would be good public relations for Teresa May regarding employing of those with physical and mental disabilities.
