  2. I was thinking the same thing--I hope no H&S officials see this.

  3. Why do people put "rare" on this kind of stuff? It's on the Interweb - it couldn't be any less rare.

Still, bloody great to watch though

  4. I think it is rare in the sense that they apparently came across the original footage serendipitously.

  5. What about "elf n safety" brilliant to watch.

  6. Jeez, who taught them - Ed McGivern?

  7. These days we have to unteach people not to go past the target and then come down to it. In those days they were teaching it!

  8. My hero.............

Well, hero is a bit strong and easily thrown around, but if I could shoot half as well as the old granddad McGivern used to I'd be a happy camper.

  9. Easy. I can do that. Here, hold my beer...

    :) :)

  10. Huge amount of trust in their mates...

  11. Clearly not. It's all pre-McGivern technique.

  12. Should at least have been wearing goggles. It's no joke getting a bit of ash in your eye.

The shooter was probably repeating to himself "Mouth, then ears. Mouth, then ears. Mouth, then ears..."

  13. Great stuff! You'd never get away with that these days.

  14. It sure makes the H&S brigade of nowadays look like a bunch of pussies. They would have a right fit in those days.
