Yes the majority of people killed by LE are white, something we all know here.

That's because white people make up 72% of the population of the USA. Black people make up ~13% yet have a fatality rate of 32%.

Murder is vile act no matter who does it to who and how. It is punished severely in any society.

Historically blacks have been discriminated against that is indisputable.

What is striking however is how violent, widespread, and extreme the reaction has been been in various countries, when these incidents have sparked of orgies of arson looting and violent criminal behaviour principally in most cases by the segment of population who are protesting in this way.

The London riots just for example.

So the question is 'why is that?' not ' when's my ammunition resupply?'

If black people are committing more crime and more likely to 'interact' with LE then why not try and address why that is? And then do something about it.

Unless of course a lot of people in the US and elsewhere from Trump downwards don't really give a shit about it.

Are you deliberately ignoring all the legislation, social welfare and education reforms that have been put in place to address the imbalance ?

Is that because they have more interaction with Law Enforcement?
You might need to expand on what you mean by interaction.
I interacted with the Met Police 5 days a week for over three years and was never stopped and searched, arrested or banged up.

I would assume that black Americans are more likely to live in areas with high levels of poverty.
Poverty breeds crime out of both necessity and opportunity. High crime areas will see higher levels of policing and with the increase in police numbers comes an increase in probability of community members interacting with the police investigating crimes.

Could we reduce police interaction by reducing poverty, which intern would reduce the need to commit crime out of necessity, which in turn would reduce the number of police needed in black communities, which in turn would reduce the probability of police interactions....

How do we pull a community out of poverty? Education and opportunity!
(As a socialist I think education should be provided by the state up to degree level, and higher if for the good of the state).

However over the last week we have seen communities burnt down, thus perpetuating the poverty cycle.

It's as if the American system needs a section of their society to live in poverty to keep the rest inline.

Ah right - they don't have grievances then and everything in the Rose Garden is indeed rosy.

Ungrateful bastards eh?

Which leads back to throwing money at the problem. America has been doing that for well over 50 years.

I think many people have come to realize that some people don’t want to take advantage of the opportunities provided and want to stay where they are in life. Which is free will. But not everybody gets hung up on being an SJW.

Why is the black community in the UK protesting against. It only events in America but the perceived inequalities in your country?

You asked " If black people are committing more crime and more likely to 'interact' with LE then why not try and address why that is? And then do something about it. "

I asked if you had also taken into account the initiatives that had already taken place ?

You could have said in response that the reforms haven't gone far enough but instead decided to use the term ungrateful bastards and everything is rosy.

I mistook you for someone who could produce a balanced answer.

Change will not occur until the black community decides to address their own social issues. Money has been thrown left and right but that has done nothing.
I am not sure it has done "nothing". There have been improvements in some areas.

I think one of the main stumbling blocks is positive discrimination. Trying to combat discrimination with more discrimination was never going to work well in the US. The left just saw it as a quick solution to the problem.

Education, family values, strong role models, opportunity and support from the wider community all help to raise people out of poverty and promote social mobility but it takes generations to see the benefits.

Having to wait generations is far to long for political parties who need results within 4 years.

I clearly mistook you for someone who might ask a sensible question.

You're not taking your estimate questions far enough.

@Bubbles_Barker

Take note. The above is the answer to my question to you.
