The fact remains, it is not and never has been a UK problem. The sooner the perfidious French get a grip and our politicians grow some balls, the sooner this farce will end.
As for 'poor refugees' I visited the original 'jungle' on a number of occasions. It was akin to walking around a maximum security prison minus the prison officers.

Agreed - very much a French problem. My gut tells me that they turn a blind eye and even tacitly encourage them as they don’t want to have them, even though they should. (Given that France is deemed a “safe” country, and asylum seekers should seek refuge in the first “safe” country they reach).
