The tv rights will be a bad thing as with no competition they will put the prices up and up and up.My thoughts:
Formation of a cartel of 6 - 10 "super clubs" who will dominate English football financially.
These will dominate TV rights and dictate the formation of leagues and intellectual / TV / broadcast rights to everyone else
The rest can wither on the vine as long as the money keeps rolling in for the big clubs.
Summay: money talks and the more you can screw out of the fans, the better.
Liverpool v Utd, £25? Look at boxing on Sky Sports Box Office, now that’s a bloody rip off on top of the subscriptions they want you to fork out, what £18 to watch a fight that may well be a bore fest or all over in 60 seconds.
I suppose it’s cheaper than going to the match itself but honestly I think this tv rights is a rip off to far.
There is only a handful of clubs now who dominate the PL, Liverpool on the pitch, City, On and off the pitch, Utd, well and truly OFF THE FECKING PITCH!!
