The Trump Presidency...

I could say the same thing watching what the Son of Castro is turning your country into.
How true this is. Canada is/has turning/turnt into some socialist, trans, lesbians wet dream. Problem for Canada, like the Uk, is they are importing all the worlds waifs and strays, whose mindset is an anathema to that which is the Canadian path. A reckoning will come there in the not too distant.

NO, no you couldn't, it's not even close to the sh!t show going on down South.
I am sorry, I can at least peacefully protest in my country.
The Son of Castro is a lesson for us down South of what to expect from people with his political persuasion. But hey that sort of thing runs in his family.

You need to stop looking under the bed mate...you obviously are totally unaware that there is no difference between Communist Autocracy and Republican Autocracy, The Democrats are not Socialists, they are Centre Left Republicans. The UK is starting to resemble the USA, where two Parties share power alternately but neither side wants to move the status quo, that the powerful corporate sector has established...because they are funded by the same people...Never forget 'It was the Sun wot won it' in 1997 when Labour were still significantly a Socialist Party...

You are clearly snorting some good shite.

Well LIz is using her position to wage a personal vendetta against Trump, because he was mean to her family. She has also been disowned by the State GOP.

A certain party has been trying to bring Trump down since he announced his intent to run for office. This is nothing more than the continuation of that effort to ensure he does not get a 2nd term. In spite of this show, he still remains more popular then the current POTUS.
So you don't think that an attempted coup is enough of a reason to stop him running again?

A Republican friend of mine who, despite being intelligent, is as much a supporter of Trump as you are, sent this link.

I would agree that both parties need to find candidates who are less divisive, than Trump and Biden and less polarising, than the extreme wings of each party.

American is turning into an absolute sh1tshow in the eyes of the world and you haven't got long to fix it

Considering the other party is destroying the republic as apart of their grand plan. Give me mean tweets any day.

The world is a shite show, but they can also be ready to deal with their own issues. Which is the head banging part, Europe is not the 51st state and they have their own problems to deal with.

How are they 'destroying the republic'? Serious question
Not, I assume, by attempting a coup?

Well we have the current POTUS and his party who have managed to destroy the economy. He continues to undermine the Constitution at any chance. He is responsible for opening up our southern border and letting a flood of illegals into the country. His party is pushing a radical agenda that the majority do not want, which is creating a massive rift and turning America into two tribes occupying the same space.

On a related note,

Sorry, I meant can you provide actual examples, backed by fact (not conjecture) as opposed to soundbites and rhetoric.

Well why don’t you…
Read up in the economy. Inflation the markets price of fuel etc. All very well documented and hard to miss.

Listen to Biden discuss the SC rulings he does not agree with or bits of the Constitution.

Same with the border situation, the information is available.

All of those “sound bites” are easily found, along with the polls to gauge the mood of the country.

Global problems, sadly, not just limited to JB's handling.

How?

How has he opened it up? Are the numbers significantly higher than when DT was in the hot seat?

The majority of those who could be bothered to vote, voted for him.

Over a million have entered the country so far.

Our economy is being strangled for an agenda that has no place.

The majority do not care for his presidency, his approval rating reflects it. It continues to plummit.

1. Coming from a financial services background I am quite well versed in economics and so am fully aware that most of the economic factors affecting the US at present are either a) global in nature (inflation), b) only partially down to domestic policy (fuel prices) or c) self-inflected (Guess what happens when 80% of you money was printed since 2019).
2. The SC has become a joke. The judiciary should be separated from the executive, and the legislature, it clearly isn't. It isn't, as the RvW ruling has just proved, an impartial entity but a political tool moulded by the Presient of the day.
3.
Over the past six months, the U.S. government has backed the expiration of certain visas, pushed for tougher requirements for investors seeking green cards, and supported the denial of permanent residency for thousands of immigrants living legally in the U.S.

If that sounds like the type of immigration portfolio former President Donald Trump would pursue, it’s because it is. But President Joe Biden is nevertheless defending it in court, despite a pledge to quickly reverse his predecessor’s hard-line immigration agenda.

There is a really, really easy way to fic the immigration issue. Prosecute anybody who employs an illegal immigrant. Can you think of any reason why neither party has gone down that route?
