The Trump Presidency...

Why did they select him as a candidate despite his obvious flaws?
Name a presidential candidate who didn’t have obvious flaws. - heavens, look at how many flaws the sainted JFK had...

If they didn't believe him, why did they vote for him?
As simple as being preferable to the alternative.

Regardless, name a presidential candidate who never lied... or are you arguing that everyone who voted for Clinton believed everything she said (which would make them stupid too, wouldn’t it?)

If after four years of catastrophic mismanagement, and now.a thousand US voters dying per day,
with a population of about 300 million, just under 8000 US voters die every day anyway.

they STILL intend to vote for the moron, then the gullibility or stupidity is entirely established.
youve still failed to prove anything other than him being preferable to the alternative candidate

Stupid, gullible, or, in your case, bonkers.
You're insulting the American people. They saved the world from a terrible fate had HRC been elected. They will have another chance to do so again.

Make no mistake, it is President Trump and the US military that are standing between us and the terrible plan for this planet by the satan worshipping cabal.

I think you need to start taking your medication again...

Have you forgotten to take your Dried Frog pills again?

The American people voted for Hillary by an almost 3m majority. It was the EC that gave Trump the victory.

You seem to be having intermittent difficulty with that country's voting system. And with reality.

So who do you think should be the next leader of the US, Putin or Xi?
Putin's had nearly 4 years, it's Xi's turn. It's only fair.

No.
I am insulting the GOP, its hard core voters, and Trump fans. They justify it. The American people don't deserve insults. They deserve pity for the horrible fate Trump delivered them into. A global laughing stock and now plague pit. I doubt HRC would have achieved the same.

I am NOT insulting you, because you are obviously clinically insane, and it is uncivilised to mock the afflicted.
However amusing it may be.

All Presidential candidates have flaws.
Trump is unique in that he has no virtues.
None.
He is almost uniquely vile, petty, humourless, ignorant, spiteful, vain...

There is nothing there that you would elect if a better candidate was available UNLESS you yourself see something mean and evil in him that calls to you. That is what he does. He appeals to the lowest common denominator.

It isn't that other candidates have lied.
It is that Trump has never apparently told a truth in his life.
For him, lying is pathological. He can't stop.

The death rate? That boils down to Trump's line. "It is what it is." You can't justify his appalling handling of the epidemic, so you shrug it off like he does. They are only people. They aren't him or his money. They don't matter.

How the US would have fared under Clinton or any of the other candidates is of course unknowable.

But on balance, I think that America has been suffering from an unnecessary self inflicted wound under its version of Emperor Nero that it will take a long time to recover from.

... And it still wouldn't have been ruled by a secret coven of Satan worshipping paedophiles.

**** off, you stupid twat.

Maybe he is planning on going on a little golfing holiday?
Seems he was late for another round again.

'Donald Trump has once again cut a media conference short, turning and walking away from the lectern after being called out for a recurring fib.

'It was a busy day for the US President, who also signed four executive orders on coronavirus relief measures, bypassing Congress. More on that shortly.

'During the press conference at his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, Mr Trump repeated his frequent false claim that he was responsible for passing a policy called Veterans Choice.

“They’ve been trying to get that passed for decades and decades and decades, and no president’s ever been able to do it. And we got it done,” he said.

'Veterans Choice is a healthcare program that allows American military veterans to see private sector doctors, outside the US Government’s Veterans Affairs system, if they would otherwise have to wait too long for an appointment.

'It was passed into law in 2014, when Mr Trump’s predecessor Barack Obama was president. Mr Trump had nothing to do with it.

'CBS reporter Paula Reid challenged the President on his discredited claim.

“Why do you keep saying that you passed Veterans Choice?” she asked, shouting over Mr Trump and the cheering members of his club – who, for some reason, had been invited to the media conference – to be heard.

'Mr Trump tried to call on a different reporter.

“OK, go ahead,” he said, pointing to someone else.

“It was passed in 2014. But it was a false statement, sir,” Reid continued.

“OK, thank you very much everybody. Thank you very much,” the President said, abruptly ending the event and walking away.

'Mr Trump has made an increasingly frequent habit of ending media briefings prematurely when reporters challenge him.

'Late last month, he cut a White House coronavirus briefing short after being asked about his promotion of a doctor who claims masks are unnecessary, there is already a cure for the virus, doctors are using alien DNA to treat people, and common gynaecological problems are the result of “tormenting spirits” having sex with women in their dreams.'

if you watched it, it was because she repeatedly tried to shout questions across another reporter who had been called.

You understand the idea of there being more than one reporter, so they take turns, right? Rather than everyone shouting over each other. Surely you’ve experienced something like that in your life? most of us learned this fairly basic life skill at school, where we put our hands up till the teacher called on us.

Why not try going to a business meeting or town hall and just blurting our questions repeatedly over other people, see what happens!

So are you saying that he did pass Veterans’ Choice?
its entirely irrelevant what the question was.

She was blurting out questions over other reporters who had waited to take their turn and been called upon.

so they all lost out.

how else do you prevent a press conference becoming a free for all?

Yep, concentrate on the trivial; ignore the facts. It's learnt well from the Hair Fuhrer, if not quite so well as it's fellow traveller, Dipso.

So he didn’t pass it then. Glad we cleared that up.

Interesting that you rank a rude journalist as being worse than a lying president.
