The Trump Presidency...

Let the gong show begin. Live impeachment telly today over here.

FWIW at this stage, I don't think Trump could expect better publicity in a run up to another election-He's got it sewn up. What made me laugh is that the senate is being required to give an oath of impartiality-which would imply they're not under any circumstances impartial. They won't get a two thirds majority even the pundits are saying he'll get off and they have to determine how to run the trial:oops:. I thought that was a constitutional given. I mean this is a bit like Charlie 1 with no executioner. Ganz Merkwuerdig
Yes, he does have it sewn up - with his base, as with any election it's the swing votes that matter in the end, and according to the polls again he is not picking up those votes - yet. Polls can be wrong.
He is not getting better publicity, the majority of polls, excepting the obscure favourable ones that Labrat will find somewhere, are showing that he should be impeached. His poll numbers regarding, economy, and confidence in him have remained steady around 43-44 percent. Meaning a constant 56 to 57 percent hate the fat twat.

As to the impartiality I laugh at that myself, a very partial politician will complain that another partial politician is being too partial. Readers of the very one sided RWM Media will complain that the very one sided LWM is very one sided. How odd.

Regarding impeachment, Trump can only blame himself for letting it get to this stage. He could have conducted a closed door session with both sides and played the 'perfect' phone call tape. Endex.

Finally, are the Republicans going to be happy letting a Democratic President have complete immunity from the law and have the power to do anything he wants while in office Somehow, I don't think they will, and the merry go round silliness will start all over again.

Trump is the first President to have impeachment called by the opposition before he was sworn in.
If he is the first president to be impeached by political non-partisanship,
He will be the first impeached President to be re-elected.

Once again, the circus timing for TDS headlines is perfect...

Meanwhile back in Davos.

I'm catching up with the circus, Schifty pencil neck has just finished his Schpeel...

To Donald J Trump, with regards.

So, the circus gets into the senate 30 odd days late and demand even more time for any evidence that might support their claims!
What happened to the overwhelming evidence!
And schifty claims the President mounting a defense is an admission of guilt!
That's is almost as good as him entering false statements of the call transcripts into the record during his sideshow in the house.

This could backfire severely for some Dems.

To Donald J Trump, with regards.

Cheap!
Those sanctions are doing the job I see.
3 Million USD (irony) to have your regime wiped off the map by Pence.

There are some on this thread who keep asking ‘what drive has Trump committed? It’s mot like he contravened a statutory law...like....’

Duh.

Just watched this piece wherein the reason why what Trump is accused of is what makes it impeachable. And which also goes to show how slippery some lawyers can be. Yes, you Dershowitz.

It was a bit silly of Trump to hand all these deep-staters such a lot of ammunition to use against him on a plate, wasn't it?

Whoops:

Would that be the legally protected anonymous whistle-blower, whose concerns have all been corroborated by other witnesses in sworn testimony?
Or some feeble attempt to say that the impeachment is baseless?

I don't care which side of the fence you sit on but dismissing injuries from a missile attack is pretty fcuking sad from a never served twat.

Donald 'Bone Spurs' Trump dismisses injuries of US military troops. Calls them mere headaches.

The Pentagon announced Tuesday that an unspecified number of other troops had been injured in the attack and evacuated to Germany.

Chump said: "I heard that they had headaches, and a couple of other things, but I would say, and I can report, it's not very serious,"

A President who never served in the military dismisses the injuries of US service members as minor despite there being no medical professionals -- in or out of the service -- saying that.

Lest we forget the Orange Hero.....

Received five deferments to keep him out of the Vietnam conflict -- four for being a student and one for medical reasons. The stated medical reason was bone spurs in his heels; "I had a doctor that gave me a letter — a very strong letter on the heels,"

At a campaign rally in 2016 Trump accepted a Purple Heart from a veteran; "I always wanted to get the Purple Heart," he said. "This was much easier."

of course they have... apart from anyone who was actually on the call,
Would that be the "PERFECT", call with no real record apart from a sketchy White House memo masquerading as a transcript, that appears to be corroborated by most testimony as Trump trying to get the Ukrainians to fit up Biden's son in exchange for releasing the military aid that Congress had voted?
That "PERFECT" call?

of course they have... apart from anyone who was actually on the call,
Blocked by the WH, I wonder why that is?
It couldn't be because they would lie under oath is it?

Nothing to hide, perfect phone call
"Oh is that right? Lets hear the tape then?"
"Errrrr, whats that? Nope can't do that!,"
"Not even behind closed doors in front of a Bi-Partisan committee?"
"Errrr, Nope, can't do that"

ah so they do want a war.
One Rogue Iranian MP puts a mere $3M bounty on Trumps head.

It's political war of words nothing more. Even Trumps mate Putin would laugh off that threat.

WTF is even a "perfect" phone call in the first place?

You think Clinton News Network will fair well after this farce, When the Dems lose the 2020 election CNN will die from lack of attention, funding and ultimately oxygen.
CNN: Everything but the News | National Review

CNN no longer has leaks from the house to push a narrative and it is about time too.

Meanwhile, earlier, back in Davos...

If Trump walks from this he needs to go full ballistic on this democrat socialist elitists, declassify their corruption into the next decade in the name of National security.

In other great news, The only decent Dem in the race has formally started legal action against the wench Clinton for her "Russia" accusations, to the tune of 50 Mil.

Gabbard hits Clinton with $50 million defamation lawsuit over 'Russian asset' remarks

It seems people who suffered at the hands of TDS mobs are making justifiable bank these days.
Remember the Covington kid hoax compliments of CNN, They had to pay up with more expected from WaPo and NBC and other.

Anti-capitalist and leftist mobs spreading hate, lies, and fear being bled dry by the courts, I f*cking love it.

Day 2 live, you can start from the beginning.

Hell of a speech.
America achieved this stunning turnaround not by making minor changes to a handful of policies, but by adopting a whole new approach centered entirely on the wellbeing of the American worker.
Every decision we make — on taxes, trade, regulation, energy, immigration, education, and more — is focused on improving the lives of everyday Americans. We are determined to create the highest standard of living that anyone can imagine, and right now, that's what we're doing for our workers. The highest in the world. And we're determined to ensure that the working and middle class reap the largest gains.
A nation's highest duty is to its own citizens. Honoring this truth is the only way to build faith and confidence in the market system. Only when governments put their own citizens first will people be fully invested in their national futures. In the United States, we are building an economy that works for everyone, restoring the bonds of love and loyalty that unite citizens and powers nations.
We're also restoring the constitutional rule of law in America, which is essential to our economy, our liberty, and our future. And that's why we've appointed over 190 federal judges — a record — to interpret the law as written. One hundred and ninety federal judges — think of that — and two Supreme Court judges.
Before I was elected, China's predatory practices were undermining trade for everyone, but no one did anything about it, except allow it to keep getting worse and worse and worse. Under my leadership, America confronted the problem head on.
[snip]
Our relationship with China, right now, has probably never been better. We went through a very rough patch, but it's never, ever been better. My relationship with President Xi is an extraordinary one. He's for China; I'm for the U.S. But other than that, we love each other.
This is not a time for pessimism; this is a time for optimism. Fear and doubt is not a good thought process because this is a time for tremendous hope and joy and optimism and action.
But to embrace the possibilities of tomorrow, we must reject the perennial prophets of doom and their predictions of the apocalypse. They are the heirs of yesterday's foolish fortune-tellers — and I have them and you have them, and we all have them, and they want to see us do badly, but we don't let that happen. They predicted an overpopulation crisis in the 1960s, mass starvation in the '70s, and an end of oil in the 1990s. These alarmists always demand the same thing: absolute power to dominate, transform, and control every aspect of our lives.
We will never let radical socialists destroy our economy, wreck our country, or eradicate our liberty. America will always be the proud, strong, and unyielding bastion of freedom.
In America, we understand what the pessimists refuse to see: that a growing and vibrant market economy focused on the future lifts the human spirit and excites creativity strong enough to overcome any challenge — any challenge by far.

Let's put it this way.
From a dribbling imbecile who can't even use Twitter coherently, do you REALLY think Trump wrote that?
A man who knows about as much about constitutional law as a shrimp does about sub atomic physics?
I wonder which staffer drafted that for him.
