The Trump Presidency...

Funny how when presented with facts it's either never Trumpers or it's too complicated to understand even when it comes from Trumps go to news channel.
It’s not a fact- it’s an opinion of a retired judge, who just happened to be involved in public spats with the POTUS. Jesus Christ - did IQs and the ability to have reasonable debate diminish after I left the U.K?

I like that SocalSapper has as his profile the business end of a handgun with 'build that wall' engraved on it.

How much new wall has been built? And has Mexico paid for it - or is it coming out of the pockets of the mugs who voted for Trump?

Can't we just brand you a 'Never Clintoner' and accuse you of CDS?

I think you could brand me a ‘Never clintoner’ and it would be accurate. I wouldn’t have voted for her, even if it was between her and Bernie.

Europeans don’t pay their fair share towards collective defense. They are a bunch of cheap motherf**kers who expect the American taxpayer to pick up the tab. Since you elected me to give those cheap socialist coc**uckers the boot, I am making them actually pay towards their agreed upon commitments. God Bless America, f*ck the world, peace out.

No the problem with Trump’s impeachment is that it is a confusing partisan driven attempt at a soft coup. It is not like the case of Nixon or Clinton, which was rather clear cut.

Support for impeachment is not exactly very high for Independents and certainly not Republicans. Liberals and foreigners are the ones clamoring for it, which are groups that are also not viewed very lovingly these days. The GOP will use the trial to knock Biden out of contention as a Presidential candidate, and try to win back the majority in the House. Forcing somebody like Warren to run against Trump, and the majority of the Nation is not interested in her ideas of Socialism.

Another 'expert' Never trumper. Try again.
Yes an expert. So the only experts you would accept would be pro Trumpers then? That figures, but that's not how it works

Evidence is evidence and judgments on criminal actions are exactly that, no matter who articulates it. This isn't a case with a dead body, knife sticking out and the person who did the knifing was seen doing it by countless witnesses.

It's one of what was said, who said it, why they said and who knew about it. In addition the action of delaying aid as threat and leverage.

Those testifying and being questioned in the NSC hearings were credible, and in some cases distinguished, public servants, not counting political appointee Sondland of course.

The narrative as it came out in the testimony was credible and had legs. Even Sondland confirmed it.

And constitutional experts, not barroom lawyers and anonymous forum posters, consider that this is enough to go through an impeachment process. Whether it ends up in impeachment is another story. Not because the events didn't happen, or because they are not impeachable, but of political reasons and protecting Trump for no other reason than to not let it happen and the party lose the presidency.

The Republican members of the NSC hearing who were doing goldfish impersonations were left with no other option but to attack the witnesses, their credibility and loyalties as well as the process. They couldn't land any punches on the evidence itself, apart from using white is black type of mis-interpretation.

You and the Trumpistas are doing the same because you have nothing else.

"Oh, but Zelensky didn't go on TV to say they were going to investigate Biden and the aid was released so Trump didn't do anything wrong." Of course, that's because this all started to become public knowledge.

But why are you so personally interested in ousting Donald?

I'm not.

I'm debating the factual points of the case and process, or should we call it a spectacle.

It seems some posters aren't accepting the facts and I'm pointing out the errors and their biased view and denials being due to being pro Trump.

Whether he goes or not is up to you Americans.

Hypothetically, if I was an American though I'd want him gone just so he stops being an embarassment.

But you it seems so long as you get your tax rebate are quite happy to keep him as president even if he has done something impeachable and criminal.

Never mind what it is that the Dems or others have done in the past. Forget partisan loyalties and petty financial benefit, if the law is broken and the president has abused his position, he needs to be made accountable.

Unless Hilary, of course.

For me, it's because it affects my friends and my missus/in-laws.

I also don't like the fact that he seems to have little idea/concern for the secondary impacts of what he says/does. These things can impact my country - we can't really trust what he says, so it will effect the relationships (military, trade etc) between us. At a time when it would be good to have a reliable partner in the world, we are sadly lacking.
