Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

Half way through the time allotted for this latest batch of competitions and you all seem to be doing better than for the last lot. Obviously I am being too easy on you - room for improvement on the questions front!

Anyway, if you have not had a go at these competitions yet then get stuck in now. They all close next weekend, come at the usual ARRSE price (free) and are easy to complete. More than this, they are fun and help keep the sites in the eyes of the publishers/authors - the more people that enter the better it is to the book suppliers to see us as a good vehicle for their book launch.

    The three this month are:

    If Chaos Reigns

Click on each link, have a read about the book then complete your entry by going to the Survey Monkey entry form.

This is a particularly good selection of books this month, one WW2, one contemporary conflicts and one a first novel by Ross Kemp.

Only two days until this competition closes - still time to get your entry in especially for DEVIL TO PAY. Could do with more entries here to make it a better competition. Most people getting all the answers correct, but not all! Have a go and have a chance to decide for yourself what Ross Kemp's novel writing skills are like. Not often we get a first novel here for a competition - worth a punt.

LOSING SMALL WARS - good number of entries but could always do with more. Most people getting the questions correct.

IF CHAOS REIGNS - once again, and surprisingly for a military themed site with people who supposedly are computer savvy enough to use Google, we are getting a lot of incorrect answers. Currently 50/50% so well worth having a go. Majority getting the name of the person who is quoted but a lot of people getting hung up on the next two questions - RTFQ then read Google!!!

Have a go, all 3 close on Saturday mid-day (ARRSE time).
