As an addendum to this, when TA potential recruits get rolled in with Reg PRs at ADSC during the week, their medicals will take place at ADSC as part of their two day selection. With the TA specific weekend selections at ADSC, the medical is conducted locally by an Army approved doctor or unit RMO prior to attendance at Recruit Selection. The reason given for this was that the doctors contracted to work at ADSC would effectively cost twice as much on a weekend.
