But the song's shiite! I'll just give the money to charity and not buy the single!

PA, try Remembrance Day by Soulweaver! Its a bit more rocky, bit less Robson and Jerome! Its not the Foos by any stretch but not a bad effort. You pay what you want to for it, and 100% goes to Erskine Hospital which treats veterans of all ages! Worth a listen!

Good on 'em for their cause but I've got to agree that the song is terrible.
To be fair the album isn't bad, lots of cover versions! Your parents would probably like it!

Best of luck to 'em for the charity thing, should play well with the older demographic, might get one for me mum, musically not at all my cup of tea though! Why can't it be The Soldiers: Classics of Death Metal, or The Soldiers: Keepin' It Gangsta?

Excellent effort....BUT....I still think Morpheus Rising's song Fighting Man kicks its arse any day. MR is contributing to Help For Heroes and the Poppy Appeal while still managing to rock!

Death to false metal!

They could have sent a clear message by doing a cover of War Pigs:

Generals gathered in their masses
Just like witches at black masses
Evil minds that plot destruction
Sorcerers of death's construction
In the fields the bodies burning
As the war machine keeps turning
Death and hatred to mankind
Poisoning their brainwashed minds
Oh lord yeah!

Politicians hide themselves away
They only started the war
Why should they go out to fight?
They leave that role to the poor

Time will tell on their power minds
Making war just for fun
Treating people just like pawns in chess
Wait 'til their judgement day comes
Yeah!

Now in darkness world stops turning
Ashes where the bodies burning
No more war pigs have the power
Hand of God has struck the hour
Day of judgement, God is calling
On their knees the war pig's crawling
Begging mercy for their sins
Satan laughing spreads his wings
Oh lord yeah!
I hope they play that at Tony Blair's funeral ... very soon.
