  1. Hello everyone,

Just wanted to share with you an event that may be of interest to those looking for a worthwhile family day out!

The Festival of the Burning Pig is a two-day event (30th April – 1st May) taking place in the village of Siddington, featuring live music, real ales, face-painting, a BBQ and a number of family activities. Dedicated to supporting and raising money for the 90th anniversary of The Royal British Legion, the festival has full support from 29 Regiment RLC. All money raised will support the Legion’s £50 million, 10-year commitment to pay for the entire cost of The Royal British Legion Battle Back Centre and the operating costs of the wider Personnel Recovery Centre programme.

The event will be officially kicked off by Lady Apsley and attended by celebrity designer Laurence Lewelyn Bowen on the Sunday.

If you think the above sounds worth a visit, head over to the Burning Pig Facebook page - Facebook

    Anyone attending?
  2. Good luck but I hope your not relying on 29 Regt's Sgts' Mess and Officers' Mess subsidising you?

They dont have a pot to piss in!
