Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/4073090.stm

Speaking at Prime Minister's Questions, he said: "The UK rebate will remain and we will not negotiate it away. Period.

Looks like a pat on the head to stop asking Bush awkward questions wasn't the only thing Blair took away from his meeting in the US.

    "Period", what the ****?
  2. What Blair should say: "Yeah, sure, keep it...as long as you also stop paying all those French farmers to do fcuk all!"
  3. I notice he states that it will remain - what he doesnt say is if it will be reduced...

we've all seen the weasel words in the past, the devil is in the detail - I'd put money that our rebate is at least halved!
  4. Yes it will be negociated away slowly. Oh and yes the real problem is the Agricultral subsidies, scrap them 100 % gone farming will join the real world and a severe shafting for Monsewer Dirty Pierre.
