Just been watching the gem that was the 1970's programme "The Professionals". (Grenada Men & Motors doesn't get enough credit) I now know where I went wrong in my professional life. I never had a souped up Cortina.

However, slightly dodgy motors was not my reason for posting.

Whenever we have gone down the path of slightly older women who would get it under any circumstances. We have usually all agreed that Jenny Agutter would, bit what about Gabrielle Drake?

A-S now answer the question, Gabrielle Drake; Yes or No?
  4. Definitely a no.
  5. Oh now you tell me.
  6. Cortina???

I saw a Capri and an RS2000, but where's the Cortina?

Oh, and G. Drake? Deffo worth a squirt then, how's she looking now though?
  7. If I had a time machine then I'm prepared to move my position to a "maybe." :D
  8. Lewis Collins once was a member of 4 Para (V). I stood behind him in a Naafi queue in St Martins Plain Camp. He bought Smarties.......hmm..........
  9. I think thats a given here?..................AUPS can be limiting, I'll give you that.

The biggest erogenous zone, my ex, would always say, is inside the head. That’s all well and good, for her, mine's in my boxers
  10. Well Now, I love the profesionals, Infact Ive based most of my career around standing in door ways in the style of Bodie.
I therefore have to point out that.....
The first series was sponsored by the then Blitish Reyrand hence the vehicles in use are old style rovers, Triumph Dolomite sprint and God forbid a TR7 ! . Only once the second series was commisioned did Ford come on board with the Granada 2.8 Ghia and Capri 3.0s !. Doyle cut around in a 2ltr Escort RS for some of this series.

Basically the producers say that the BL models where so unreliable and support from the company was crap. Ford at the time where on the up and apparently couldnt do enough for them !

OK enough Geek ness for one monday !

    ON the beam HUP !
  11. Professionals top tv. Whatever happened to Lewis Collins? Best line remember from episode when they are investigating some ministry scandal and snobby former rupert turns to Bodie and says I expect you were with one of those rag tag outfits skulking about behind enemy lines.
  12. I think you're thinking of the Naafi bar.

You may not mean any harm, but think about the forum it's going in. Ten seconds covering it up in photoshop still lets you show it, but saves others blushes.

Edited to add - if you don't want to do that, jsut pop NSFW next to the link.

  13. Didn't he Join "THEM", beat up a German & US Soldier on an E&E Exercise, Resign his Commission, go to work for a terrorist organisation, then save all in an Embassy Siege??? (oh, and turked some rough looking Septic in the process)

The best Professionals episode was the one where some toe rags got hold of lots of SLR's, GPMG's, Grenades and took over a hospital for ransom! Ace stuff.
