Our cable service just ditched BBC Canada. What a honking, steaming, pile it was. How many episode of Top Gear and Father Brown can be rerun on a permanent loop? Graham Norton, for the love of sweet baby Jesus, they really hated us Colonials.

I think there was one chap shoved in BBC closet space #382 given a budget of $27 and told to broadcast BBC Canada. He died in 2011 his skeleton remains are still in said closet with his long dead bones jamming the perma send and repeat button.

A VPN is the answer.

I remember when Norton did his first series of show in the US called the Graham Norton Effect.

He had all the big stars on (Hartnett, Voight, Rock, Sharon Stone etc.) but he just carried on as though he was on his regular Friday night show in the UK where half the audience were expected to be pissed and smut was compulsory.

It was quite funny watching all the Yank celebs jaws drop open as they sat there thinking 'did he really just say that live on TV?'

O read this morning thst Ian Skelly, the man who has done an excellent job of presenting 'Essential Classics' on Radio 3 for over 20 years is being replaced.

Against his wishes he will be moved to join a team presenting 'Afternoon Concert'. In a blatant display of gender-related box ticking , his replacement will be two much younger female presenters taking turns week by week. The BBC insists the change is not due to his age.

FFS! I should hate to be a white male in the workforce nowadays!
