Also at the time the Police were following the 4 Es approach (with some exceptions), Engage, Explain, something else they thought was catchy beginning with E and Enforce.

In other words:

Oi you.
Why are you here?
Bugger off back to where you came from!
Right here's a 60 quid fine, 30 if you pay it when it arrives.

But if you had a valid excuse then 'reasonable man test' came into play.

Early days I came across a car that PNC'd to 15 miles from where it should be in the middle of nowhere. Couple with child arrive as I'm sat there and explain that they've been on their patch of land so the kid (who had cancer) can spend some time outside in the woods away from anyone.

Passed the attitude test, BS detector didn't flicker and they were going home anyway so discretion was used.
And yet some on here would've had the kid sold into slavery and the parents hung, drawn and quartered with the remains sent to the 4 points of the compass pour encourage l'autres!

Only if they were Conservatives or Brexit voters;-)

It matter not what you think, or why you don't understand they his child could be classed as vulnerable (autistic, two ill parents), you're wrong and the Police statement backs that up - the only thing that you could "hang him" for is a possible minor infraction for the BC trip as stated in their press release - which bit of the Durham trip with did not contravene the rules can't you grasp

"There might have been" is legalese for "There was but we didn't catch him" A big cut and paste with red underlining doesn't change anything. He was and is taking the piss.

You reckon Cummings would pass the attitude test? Remember that his explanation was written post journey and is written in the form of a witness statement.

You know you're winning when you have to create outrageous straw man arguments

Attitudes are very subjective, what one person considers to be a reasoned and balanced attitude may in fact be seen a massive cnut by thousands of others. Think of it as self awareness or lack of it.

Priceless.
You are, your comprehension is wonderful to view in action. Give us your GDRP understanding again.

You failed miserably to understand it that time, no point making you a chump a second time when you're doing so splendidly on your own.

I have a good degree of self awareness and know how to speak to plod, Cummings has a reputation for being rude and aggressive from way back.

That Dominic Cummings is a nasty beast though, isn't he?

I read on the interweb that he force-feeds puppies with cancer to children in orphanages.
