  1. I found this on YouTube. It's a WWII US information film on the B29 operations over Japan. Some amazing footage, including B29's ditching in the sea off Iwo Jima as well as some fantastic gun camera shots on strafing runs.

    It's in 4 parts, but they will show up in the link bar on the R\H\S.

    Surprising that they "cruised" at 1000ft. Would have thought better economy would be had at higher altitude.

    The P51 strafing runs were quite amazing, the concentration and accuracy of fire very impressive indeed, particularly at oblique angles and when turning in.
