  1. Should I watch the Danish one or wait for the US one?

  4. The Danish version is much better, although I personally feel the latest series (3) has borrowed heavily from "The Bridge". Having said that, it still knocks spots off most of our home-grown stuff.

  6. Danish. No question
  7. The septic version is sh*te, rather like their version of Prime Suspect.
If you are into the whole Scandi thriller thing, then also watch Borgen.
A West Wing without the septic hype & melodrama but with a tasty Danish
    milf PM.

I've met Sofie Grabol in real life, I kid you not she is well fit.

  9. The Killing is excellent! Like most of the Nordic Noir series in their own language: Wallender, Borgen, The Bridge etc. If you get the chance to catch the Swedish language Millennium Trilogy based on Stig Larrsons books they are much colder and darker the the Daniel Craig jobbie!
  10. The latest series of the Killing is turning into a real nail biter. Two more episodes to go and it has more twists and turns than ever. Top quality drama and far, far better than the American spin off. I still think The Bridge is slightly better though and can't wait for the second series. Sofia Helin, oh yes!

I have to admit, I'm finding this latest series a right chore. I just wish they'd fecking get on with it!
  12. Fair one, it has been a slow burner! That said, I think the last few episodes have really taken off.

PS: I am pretty envious you have been up close and personal with SG.
  13. Tis the reason I am learning Swedish and Danish!
