The Idiot Son of an A$$hole

1. Lady Navy Vet? Please pardon my ignorance, I'm sure some one has proabaly already asked this, and something is lost in the translation.

But are there many vetinarians in your Navy? I guess you are responsible for the welfare of those Navy dolphins. We really liked that "Vets in pratice" programme recently screened on the BBC world service.

2. I just thought the rest of you might like to know that one of our DFID / UNCA funded intitiatives is progressing well. The Al Mansouria Job Club now has a 20 seat interactive learning centre and we are getting 40 students per week through their ECDL.

The digital camera donated by Nottingham socialist Womens centre is being used by our ladies art and literature circle. The British Council funded Artist In Residence scheme is a huge success. Emerald from Hackeney has promoted significant debate, a current topic is "Does Life Immitate Art".

As a graduate of Mons OCTU in the 1960s, I am trying to remain open minded about this, despite my age. I still can't grasp how this fits in though:

Here in the USA, military veterans are often refered to as "vets"

I am a veteran of the United States Navy, Viet Nam Era. Served at the Naval Nuclear Power School, Orlando, Florida.

And since I am also a woman...

Hence the handle: LadyNavyVet

Does that help?

Flashy,

I was a Personnelman. A Records Keeper.

Wasn't in very long, but now due to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) I get a very nice pension from the government which allows me to focus on supporting the troops and veterans causes.

Spend alot of time putting out care packages to our boys and girls overseas and working with homeless veterans.

No you will be an even older baggy mitten by then, now or never, you will be sorry if you miss out on some donut loving, Gunny still regrets it now.

Second thoughts don't bother, you have just banned me from your SPAM site.

Never have I heard so much shite and bribble spouted from a civvy....of all people, you licked the barnacles off a carrier for ten minutes in the fifties and you are a moderator on the ponciest wet pants site I have ever seen

Bite my crank

Guys if she served in Nam then she is getting on a bit. (No offense intended LadyNavyVet)
We should be treating her like a lady, not offering to bugger her.

Plus if she gets Nam flash backs like I do then i'd say away from approching from the rear :)
