And completing a trio of posts. The Greek government has decided on a solution to its financial problems. Germany must pay €162bn for damage caused to Greece in WW1 and WW2.

Vast Greek war claims against Germany explode like a 'time-bomb' - Telegraph

The Greek government is in disarray after the leak of an explosive report drawing up vast reparations claims against Germany, covering both the First and Second World Wars. Premier Antonis Samaras held a special meeting with the foreign minister Dimitris Avramopoulos and other key officials this morning to limit the diplomatic damage from the 80-page report.

The document – stamped “Aporito”, or secret – was drafted by a panel of experts appointed by the Greek finance ministry and delivered to officials last month. The alleged claim against Germany reaches a grand total of €162bn, including €108bn for rebuilding the country’s infrastructure after the Nazi occupation from 1941 to 1944. This is 80pc of Greek GDP.

The probe was chaired by Panagiotis Karakousis, director-general of the General Accounting Office at the Finance Ministry, and relied on 190,000 pages of documents scattered through the country’s ministries and archives. Mr Karakousis told The Daily Telegraph that the report was commissioned by the current leadership...
Can't see that one working myself. All hail Emperor Mong's latest masterpiece....

Secret Athens Report: Berlin Owes Greece Billions in WWII Reparations
By Georgios Christidis in Thessaloniki

A top-secret report compiled at the behest of the Finance Ministry in Athens has come to the conclusion that Germany owes Greece billions in World War II reparations. The total could be enough to solve the country's debt problems, but the Greek government is wary of picking a fight with its paymaster.

The headline on Sunday's issue of the Greek newspaper To Vima made it clear what is at stake: "What Germany Owes Us," it read. The article below outlined possible reparations payments Athens might demand from Germany resulting from World War II. A panel of experts, commissioned by the Greek Finance Ministry, spent months working on the report -- an 80-page file classified as "top secret."

The absolute capacity of Greeks of any variety to blame others for their misfortunes and expect others to clear up their mess...

And the fact that Greek railways had no signalling whatsoever until the Wehrmacht put some in for them must lead you to ask haven't the germans done enough for Greece?
