The Great ARRSE Outage 2018

#62
I'd like the CO's to know that I will be ringing Slater & Gordon to start compensation proceedings.

Due to ARRSE being offline, I've sat through two solid days of porn. Finally, my right arm couldn't take anymore and snapped right after some bloke spaffed over Lisa Ann's face.

I've included an image of how I've been left and expect this matter to be dealt with swiftly...

However if the CO's wish to settle out of court, I'll gladly call off the dogs as long as I receive over £50,000 for the emotional trauma of a broken arm and a bruised bellend.
Use spit man ffs as for compo 10 phenning final offer

Unfortunately the sudden crash also corrupted our database which has meant that we've had to restore a previous version. This means that approximated 7-8 hrs of posts have been lost between 0300 and 1100 on Thurs 24 May.
Bastard those 7 hours contained some of my most wittiest and erudite posts I have ever written!

After the Yulia Skripal statement and the MH17 report I assumed the site had been nobbled by the St Petersburg massive.
Using their favourite online pseudonym " Uncle Bill "

If that thread is a bite it was pitifully executed...if not he's just another chippy Tyke mentalist.

As the servers we use are based in Germany, will brexit threaten their continued usey uk based users? Will the EU, in their venality, demand the end of cross border exchange of data unless we agree to more of their dictatorial demands?

If so, now is the time to start looking at alternate sites to keep us entertained until Bad/Good CO gets things back on track and based in the UK. We have had

Mumsnet
Ship finder
www.thinpinstripedline.blogspot.co.uk (careful with this one!)
Various wrist exercise sites

So what other "interesting" sites are there? :D

One idiot even suggested that people actually do some work, but we won't listen to extremists like that though.

@jim30 Walt ;-)

(IIRC IT comes under the digital legislation act, which has EU factors).

When I first read the title, I thought @jarrod248 had released a list of certain gentlemen of his acquaintance. My heart raced as I hurriedly searched for my name (the real one). I got to page 4 before I realised it was just a bunch of blokes yakking on about an internet breakdown. Boring :)

There's always the popular gerbil site to keep one entertained while the dads are tacking the ARRSE ship to a safe harbour. This would fall into the wrist exercise type of site I would expect.

Apologies for last night's outage. For some reason (ok we hadn't configured it properly!) mysql started creating massive binary logs that filled the hard disk up. Now sorted anyway.

Administration are not bad sticks. Thinking a post was safe in "current affairs " they moved it without fuss to where it belongs :)

My wife coincidentally had a binary log on Thursday. I had to chop the bas***d up. Even then I had to flood the pipework to the septic tank to get the behemoth to drop into it. Sploosch is'not onomatopoeic enough. What i'm trying to say is I know your pain. So did my wife before the event.
