Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Due to the wonders of DII I cannot use the link, however German ads do tend to be a bit dull, the humourous ones are definitely the exception.

How about Weissbier? Good sausages? Pommes mit Rot/Weiss?... er, that's it. Hold on, how about Blitzkrieg, Autobahn, VW?... er, hold on, that was an austrian Corporal.

  5. Ah but which came first, Geiz ist Geil or Attenborough's dinosaurs?

That advert is a couple of years old now.

  6. Once they close their nuclear power stations, they will have to revert to steam power.

    To a point.
The French plant in Fessenheim (Alsace) is right on the border, and they had an earthquake in 1980 of magnitude 4.7 just a few years after the place was built.....

  11. *Yawn* Someone wake me up once this thread becomes interesting. Nutting wrong with that commercial. As I understand it, the last monster put out all the other monsters that represent more expensive competitors perhpas? Given the final message is "Wir hassen teuer" (we hat expensive), I cannot come to a more meaningful conclusion, thoughts?
PS: Not the greatest commercial ever, but technically well made nonetheless.
