    I'm sure they would be grateful for information people have about halls not on their list.

    Also when you look at old maps from 200 years ago many small towns often had 2 or 3 buildings marked as barracks. I suspect a few became drill halls and then were sold on.

    The imprint of the Army lives on where they are long gone. Where I live we have a Garrison Lane, no trace of the garrison exists and a neighbouring town has a Barrack Street, again with no trace of a barracks.
