  2. Ah but is it flying or driving? :)
  3. Neither, it's gone by submarine! :p
  4. *SOBS*

Should have give me a buzz we could have formed an honour guard!
  5. I went on a school trip to Browning Barracks a good few years ago, and got a picture by the Dakota. Shame to see it leave, but glad it's going to Colly.
  6. End of an Era!
  7. What's going to happen to it at Colchester? Restored and put on display?
  8. Preapring the hardstanding for it at the main gate as we speak. Really looking forward to seeing it once its been restored. :D
  9. My father piloted it in its days as a VIP Flight aircraft from Northolt, I have his log books with the Registration KP208 in it. Lets hope it gets well restored and has many more years of doing "gate duty"
  10. Used to drive past that every morning. I hope it gets the restoration it deserves; it's been looking shabby for a while now.
  11. This may be of interest to your dad then, can't make it bigger sorry:

  14. Sorry mucker, thought you were still in London. :(
  15. So did I.

Sorry it's gone, truly the end of an era.
