In 2016 it refered to "jitters" re the UK's EU referendum but was still recovering after the financial crisis ie under a different government and long before the Brexit vote.

Flybe faces turbulence despite return to profit

Lets hope all goes well for them but really there have been many factors. The budget airlines market was never going to be an easy one.

There have been various articles on the subject of budget airlines and their issues, such as starting as a charter airline then rapidly gearing up as a national network airline. Massive growth needs seats to be filled. Lower margins and high overheads tend to create bigger exposure to variability in fuel costs, customers, airport issues etc.

Lets not upset the Japanese
This from elsewhere
Clueless, desperate and rude: "Relations with Japan have soured," "the UK's desperation... is now becoming... clear," "there had been growing frustration with the British side," "British negotiators have come to the table without the necessary specialists"

The good Europeans are already speculating on aquring the Nissan and Honda facilities that are leaving the UK. Such good friends in the EU, everyone has the knife ready to kill the other members as soon as they have the chance. Interesting that even the governments that are made of anti EU parties such as Italy are speculating, as if they're anti EU only with words but don't have the courage to quit the EU.
