The Biden Presidency

Another Loss for the Biden presidency:

Haha, every week I love to turn on the news and see how they are failing, the longer they are in power the more unelectable they become and the more democrats get red pilled and change into republicans.

Then there's this, so probably not much chance of any changes to the filibuster:

His administration is falling in popularity every month and is about to be get curb checked in November. Which means he is going to have a great time in 23 and 24.

But don’t forget our temporary inflation has hit 7 percent.

Biden approval rating was at 33% the other day, and the first year is supposed to be the honeymoon period for an administration. I doesn't help the Biden is a habitual liar either, he called Kamala the president the other day and said he'd been arrested while marching for civil rights when that was going on. Then there's Kamala(who), has she actually done anything yet? Her only job was the border and I don't think she's even visited it. She's probably the most unpopular VP there's ever been - but hey, she has tits and she's black, so it's OK that she's about as much use as a lighthouse in a desert.

It appears with Manchin and Sinema just ended his attempt at the Federal takeover of our elections. So his agenda is now just DOA.

In fairness that was the rating for his handling of Covid and the new variant. It wasn't his overall rating as President.

Polling has to be judged in terms of the spread and the approval rating as I said in another post is just the indicator which tells you the state of morale, rather than intention to vote.

Given you have a lot of polling firms which have an enormous Democrat bias and a smaller number that have a heavy Republican Bias and none of them are wholly independent and my own simple prediction model was based on 5 Republican and 5 Democrat pollsters and the average of those has Biden on 42% and make no mistake, that is a seriously bad number for the democrats and should be given the party leadership sleepless nights for two reasons:-

1. That's 8 points to make up.
2. Trump in 2020 went from 40% and picked up 6.9% points over the final two months and just fell short. The independents who vote libertarian party switched 2 points to the democrats and that made the difference and pushed the democrats over the finish line and that number is already lost, based on the approval rating.

Hes still flailing

His approval/disapproval rate (at the same point in time of their presidencies) is better than Trumps but its getting ever close.
Half of independents have said they're will vote Republican and that pretty much dooms the man and his party.

Gas prices have stubbornly stayed at high levels (high for the US!), my supermarket has notices saying "due to Omicron, there are no chicken packers working, so get it while you can", and my neighbors just paid $10K over book value for a used GMC SUV. Anybody with a basic grasp of the economy knows these are market driven forces, and so aren't directly a result of Government policies - so not Joe Biden's "fault" - but guess what, that famous saying about where the buck stops will resonate with voters everywhere right now.

In November 2020 the "anything but Trump" mantra was enough to get Biden elected, but since then, he's been a deer in the headlights as far as tackling the day to day issues the most voters care about. For most people that is how much money they are left with in their paycheck and can they pay the bills? The Democrats have fallen in to the trap of completely missing rising inflation while they focus on what most people regard as "progressive' agendas. Some of these things are important, like voting rights, but you can't win over independents with tenuous social policy while they see the ravages of rising prices, supply shortages and an erratic economy driven by external forces such as COVID.

Most of this piss-poor performance should be on the Old White Gang (OWG) of Pelosi and Schumer etc. but they've been smart in not stepping up and claiming responsibility for being missing in action as the economic disaster unfolds. All the vitriol directed at Manchin and Sinema misses the point (some of it is valid of course), if the policies were obviously popular and a vote winner, they would be on board with their constituents. Even the dullards in West Virginia and Arizona will vote and support politicians who make their lives more bearable.

At the mid-terms, the Democrats and Biden can reasonably expect to lose control of the House and Senate, after which we get 2 years of nothing ever being passed through Congress. As much as I despise the OWG and the Democratic intransigence, wait until a professional political saboteur and pimp like McConnell gets back in the seat, along with that screaming ******* idiot and trump cock-sucker, McCarthy. What we are seeing here is how the opportunity to try and do some serious good for the country while trying to recover from a global pandemic has been squandered by petty politics and self-interest on both sides of the house.

Every president of the United States is remembered
Only one one time wonder has had their presidency end in a tantrum
Time will tell how each are remembered
How do you know that Trumpp will only be a one time wonder? The way that it is going he is going to be back in the White House in 2024.

It would have been better if Trump had won in 2020. Four more years of mayhem but at least in 2024 he would have been gone for ever and both Democrats and Republicans could have used the time to find sensible leaders in 2024. As it is the USA has a complete bozo in charge who is obviously not up to the job both through age and ability with the return of the orange one looming over the horizon.

Saw a report the other day that Hilary Clinton is planning to stand against Trump if he runs in 2024

There have been reports that she might be thinking of running. I think they are testing the waters to gauge the reaction from the great American public after they rejected her in 2016. At least Trump has retained his base. Did she ever have one other than her corporate sponsors?

It may hinge on what comes out of Maxwell's trial
Allegedly they went to great lengths in 2016 to cover up a lot of Bill's travel plans

The Democrats have totally misread the last election. Biden was a place holder and that is it. The Democrats have focused as you have mentioned on their plan to create one party rule and in the process totally fecked the economy. Now my generation and those who are coming up are experiencing what that party has to offer. Which is poverty for many, a reduced standard of living for the rest. Social unrest and lawlessness, and out of control wokeness. Your party cares more about felons and illegals then the we being of the citizens who live in this country.

How can you say it ain’t Joe’s fault, when he very publicly killed Keystone and throttled our energy industry with government regulation? Then when inflation was getting out of hand last summer, it was only “transitory” until it was not.

Progressive America is about to curb checked in November and it needs to happen for the benefit of the Republic.

Inflation was already substantial pre-covid and covid has just accelerated the rise and I suspect the real inflation rate is double the official number, which is fiddled. The old politics of simply chucking money at something has less and less success and why they're have to spend ten times as much money today than in say 1995 to have the same effect and Biden is the pinnacle of old politics and why everything is turning to s***.

The anger in politics is the anger of the leaderless and most leaders are just riding the tiger and hoping democracy can survive.

Brandon strikes again, that old codger is going to set himself up for a well deserved impeachment.
I've highlighted before that most dementia, or Alzheimer sufferers have a tendency to be massively cranky. They're also adopt compulsive behaviors which makes them make bad choices and the archetypical old fella who suddenly announces he's marrying a twenty year old stripper, blow half their pension on tat to clutter up their homes and rewrites their wills to cut the kids out are all products of a mind that is less than whole.

So they spend their money on booze, viagra, fast cars and 20 year old strippers, and waste the rest

Sounds like the perfect retirement

What was Trumps excuse for doing a mong impersonation of a reporter?
