Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. So I listen and I learn, I watch and I see. I am rather eclectic in my music taste, anything bar jazz and heavy metal works.

Now I ask you, the BEST piece of music ever? Not what you fancy you like, not ever what you like now. The best you have ever known.

I could say silly things that I like a lot such as:
Bizet - Les pecheurs de perles
Rage Against the Machine - Pistol Grip Pump
    Verve - Bittersweet Symphony
Knees Up Mother Brown (as a pub song)
Over The Hills and Far Away
Bling 182 - The Party Song
    Borodin's - No.2, 3rd Movement
    Fleetwood Mac - Albatross

Still, what wins hands down for now and forever more is:
Elgar - Nimrod from Enigma Varitions

..... sorry, but I could write for hours on my choices. It's like asking "Who's your favourite daughter?" or "Who's your favourite parent? Mum or Dad?"
  12. Which reminds me, do you not owe us pictures of your three daughters???
