We have a story that will no doubt will please WW, entitled "Is it OK for disabled poeple to go to brothels?

On a more serious note a resected Nobel Laureate has come out saying that as bad as the 9/11 attacks were they were not as bad as the IRA attacks of the previous twenty years, she's no big fan of Call me Tony either.

Contraversial topic to bring up just before you pick up your gong.

"They're a very naive people, or they pretend to be," she added of Americans.

Lessing, whose novels include The Golden Notebook and Memoirs of a Survivor, also branded President George W Bush "a world calamity".

"Everyone is tired of this man. Either he is stupid or he is very clever, although you have to remember he is a member of a social class which has profited from wars."

The writer also said that she "always hated Tony Blair from the beginning".
Not a lot wrong with what she said that I can see.

Ahem... well we're only human after all, and in any case lack of limbs makes for interesting positions, very interesting positions. ( so I hear) and if I had to , I think I would. I hope Mrs WW wont read this post

As for Doris Lessing , I agree she has the voice of reason.

and with the MB shedding 1000 jobs , I wonder if there will be a spare comfey chair I can "liberate".
