The BBC: are claims of political bias justified? Part 2.

Unless they’re Islington socialists.

I wrote that and realised the Islington socialists would be insulted to be regarded as middle class. They all proper toffs.
I once read a mutual acquaintance's friend dripping on on Facebook about his 'guilt' over moving away from his working-class roots. It was comedy gold. He went on about his great job in IT, getting his kids into a good postcode area for schools, and having to leave behind the people from his past (whom he would never forget...).

It was comedy gold. I couldn't have parodied it better.

The obvious solution, of course, would have been to move back to the hole he came from and share his wealth with those around him. But...

That's exactly what I said to my son. It seemed quite obvious the cameras had been set up to catch the starry sphincter bunnets, either individually or in a row. You'd think the wearers would have had some shame or embarrassment being amongst 'the winners'.

I mean, if your team lose the cup final, you don't go to the winners parade wearing your team's colours.

A little background on 'those' berets

So my guess that they were freebies seems correct. Gullible Prom goers making political statements! I do not just mean the berets, the flags round the boxes and tiers were EU in a ratio of about 2 Starry Sphincters to 1 UJ. Definitely organised, whereas in previous pre Brexit days the flags would be UJs, Saltires, Dragons plus flags from Commonwealth nations and the occasional 'foreign' one ;).

Sad, sad state of affairs.

The handing out of the blue berets with stars must have had approval and certainly were the focus for the BBC director, except when Rule Britannia was being sung - with great gusto!

I hate the BBC

The horrific rape of a young girl in Bournemouth was featured on Crimewatch last week. The alleged attacker was described as Asian but the actor playing the suspect in the reconstruction was white. I’m surprised the Beeb were unable to find an Asian actor? Is it because they’re all snowed under doing adverts on Channel Four & ITV?

Straight from The You Couldn’t Make This Up Files.

If the Beeboids ever did a docudrama on Rotherham, they'd probably have all white actors playing the perps.

From The Telegraph:

BBC appoints Jess Brammar as executive news editor

"Former editor of the Left-wing Huffington Post UK website to take up role this month"
Pretty stupid decision by the BBC. A sort of 'sod you' to the government.
And, that aside, she clearly isn't impartial (or at least hasn't hidden her views) and how can she advocate for and defend impartiality when she is as far from being impartial as possible?
And she looks smug as f*** in her photos too.

Not even attractive, by way of consolation

Announced on the day of a cabinet reshuffle. Shabby.
That is terribly shoddy. A good day to bury controversial news.

Edit - and possibly canny of BBC managers as they can now say, if threatened by any government policy, 'is this petty revenge for the appointment?'.

On the plus side, I think (hope) Dorries is the right person to challenge the Corporation.

So Barnardo’s is yet another institution that has meekly submitted to the yoke of woke? How many white children have suffered FGM in this country? Or in any other, for that matter? How cowardly. How humiliating.

It‘s happened.

‘Faggot’ in Fairytale of New York. (Despite it being an old term for a slovenly individual, not a slur against gays.)

‘One less white n***er’ in Oliver’s Army.* (Despite it not being aimed at black people.)

The wholly ’sexually predator’ nature of Baby it’s cold outside. (Despite the opposite being the case.)

…although note that that comment is from 2017.

*Yes, that is legitimate use of the n-word.
