Rail strikes: The passengers who fear they will miss life events

BBC Comment

These so called life events?
Cant go on a stag night
Missing a 'Yes' concert
Not getting to work
Having to get a taxi to hospital for an operation
Having to hire a vehicle to go to Wales

Talk about scraping the barrel.

Oopsy:

"According to Ofcom’s own figures, 11% of adults had cause to complain about the BBC in the last year, with ITV at 6%, and Channel 4 at 4%. Of that figure, most didn’t have confidence their complaints would be upheld or taken seriously. Why would they? Time and again, the BBC’s top stars clearly breach social media impartiality rules and, at worst, face a warning and slap on the wrist. A few months later, they do it again…"

Just wait a few months. With all lefties, Marr, Maitliss etc etc leaving the sinking ship it won't be long before this group start bleating that the BBC is the home of the far right!

The BBC utterly ignoring the Oldham child grooming (raping) report that came out this week:

https://www.greatermanchester-ca.go...nce-report-8-june-2022-14-digital-version.pdf

I made the effort to listen to the Today prog just in case but no just some 'New George Floyd' death in Police custody in Scotland. Could it be that it was a Labour council and a council 'child welfare officer' was one of the rapists and the cover-up was throughout the council?

Similar to the Telford horror in 2018 when they blanked it utterly for days despite it being a Daily Mirror 18 month investigation that blew the whistle. The BBC finally having a small bit on its local news from Shropshire part of it's website.

I heard about it on Radio 4 news.

It was even mentioned that the majority of the perpetrators were men of Pakistani origin.

thinking about TV , and adverts

seems that almost every advert or program features black or mixed race couples , or two white people , probably of the same gender with a mixed race child , or gay couples or any of the 22 genders and rainbow flags everywhere

yet they all seem to be shying away from gay Pakistani men for some unexplainable reason, anybody know why?

Because there aren't any obviously.

They've all been thrown from the top of tall buildings.

The Beeb have two ways of covering events:-
1. Dry and factual: usually with a closing comment from a Journalist about the community coming together.
2. Hyperbolic Journalist: demanding something must be done OR celebrating something like Glastonbury, as if Jesus was about to make an appearance.

Oddly you only ever hear type 1 coverage, when an event has undermined what the Beeb believes in and they're believe thats not bias.

Shadow Minister.
And it was just a “genuine mistake” for which she has received an apology and been awarded costs !
Unbelievable.
I often shake my head at the numpties that haunt Twatter and the regular entertainment their career fouling errors provide but on reflection, without social media, all we would have are carefully prepared statements from celebs and political figures.....................unless your name is Dianne Abbot who waits until she is on National TV and declares that "Chairman Mao did more good than harm"

Well given that Boris is seen as right of Hitler nowadays, whereas he's actually left of centre in many respects sort of tells you everything you need to know.
