The Apprentice last night

Done a search and found nothing, surprised no ones mentioned the Apprentice last night!

Was the guy who got kicked out ex army or TA? Just that Dara O Brien mentioned something on the "You've been fired" programme afterwards, kept mentioning you dont do this at the TA!

Any early bets who you think is going to win it?

No idea who might win it but I want the old "Suralan" back, all this new "Lord Sugar" business was doing my head in after about 2 minutes of the boardroom! I was under the impression that "Lord Sugar" would be correct form on first addressing him and subsequently "Sir" would do? Ho Hum!

Haven't watched the BBC2 thing yet but I was quite pleased he ditched that bloke last night (Dan?), judging by previous series I was expecting him to be kept in as he would undoubtedly make good telly. The other bloke who was brought into the boardroom looks like good value as well - "I'm the most capable man in the country, and probably the world".

Doesn't seem to be that many lookers on the female team this year either.

To early to tell whos going to win it as we aint seen all of them to any degree yet! Its the only reality tv show I will watch. I have noticed that over the years its been going its always the project leaders in the first couple of episodes that get the boot. Surely all the other contestants must see this and sit in the background until a few tasks down the road, I suppose somebody has to be first through the door though.

They film two 'winners' options, only one of which will be shown on the night. Confuses those spread betting types and of course the camera team who might release the name(s) for whatever gain. There were 5,000 interviews for this series.

The usual collection of self centered twats and people who suffer from n b p e. (not being punched enough)

The only people who take it seriously are the contestants. It's good entertainment for the rest of us. I'm waiting for one of the to say," No need to pull the chain Lord Sugar. I'll eat it" They are so full of themselves that the could all be politicians.

I watched 5 mins but thought it was re-runs of the first series i watched. They do the same tasks, say the same things and are the same people. Not for me.
Obviously I could win it though. Without feeling the need to say any dull 'salesy' lines like 'When I was born my first word wasn't 'mummy' it was 'money." No it wasn't you dick.
I think the fact that you wouldn't spout management BS like "synergy" and "paradigm" and are capable of carrying out the task without having a nervous breakdown or hosing everyone down with the blamethrower would probably have you kicked off selection at a fairly early stage. :thumright:

Chris Farrell is an Ex-Royal, but in the best traditions of then Royal Navy . . .

The Scum said:
APPRENTICE fraud suspect Chris Farrell was fired from his first office job for ogling web porn, The Sun can reveal.

The reality TV contestant, 29, spent hours surfing X-rated sites instead of working, his former employer claimed yesterday.
He was given the boot from the small-mortgage firm for misconduct after three months.

The ex-Royal Marine was then taken on by another mortgage company but lasted less than two years before being fired again.
