Thank you letter

#1
Evening all,

We received a letter from Brigadier, thanking us for some equipment that we donated to help keep moral at a high on base, while deployed.

My question is; is it too much to reply to him to say thank you for the letter / show some acknowledgement? Will a quick email suffice? I don't want to over do it but at the same time, I do not want to under do it.

Cheers,

Those are business letters. Trust me, don’t reply to the Brigadier. Or do what the **** you like.
I agree wholeheartedly. I wouldn't personally reply.

If the OP is a civvy or a businessperson, his/her situation may be different.

He will not be expecting a reply. You have helped the base. He has thanked you. Job done.
