Teen Movies

I can remember we all watched a film called The Night of The Scarecrow just before going on a night NAVEX in Cropton forest when we went with school, I think we spent more time running away from imaginary scarecrows than finding checkpoints!

i was having this confersation down the pub a few days ago, we all agweed 80s films are soooo much better. All todays films are about graphics and cgi stuff, you dont even see a 18 rated film to often anymore so the film guys can get a bigger audience. Like alien vs preditor could have been an awsome clash between 2 kick ass alien races instead they toned it down to give it a 15 cert.

And only because rapierman's avatar reminded me:

JAWS!!!

I still here that bloody music if I'm swimming in the sea!

My faves are :-

Smokey & Bandit
Cannonball Run
Blazing Saddles
Goonies
Life of Brian

Has anyone mentioned:-

Spies like us
Fletch
Animal House
Bachelor Party

Sneakers
with Robert Redford and the late River Phoenix awesome film, led to the destruction of many electronic gadgets and a fascination with surveillance technology.

70s & 80s Bennett. Sneakers was 1992. Still, I suppose that's ancient history to a young whippersnapper like you isn't it? What were you- 4yrs old during GW1?

The Hunt for Red October
Bachelor Party
National Lampoon's Animal House
THE BLUES BROTHERS

I was 8 nearly 9 when GW1 kicked off. Ok then go for a Redford classic in the form of The Sting excellent film a classic good vs. bad and honour among thieves

I watched COMMANDO on sunday night, the old skills and drills hadn't left me - Haven't watched it for a decade and I still knew the dialogue word for word

"Chenny"
"I eat Green Berets for Breakfast"
You're a funny guy Solly, that's why I'll kill you last"
"I lied"
"You don't need the knife, Bennett"

And of course:

"I'LL BE BACK"

And the same goes for the Blues Brothers...
