Having been reading the recent spate of threads on childhood, sweets, memories, bikes etc.

I remember watching loads of movies back in the 70's and 80's group of mates usually at a 'parent free house' or while babysitting, some of them at the time gave me nightmares others were eye openers!! 8O What movies do you remember?

Love Story
The Aristocats
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory
The Way We Were
The Exorcist
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Blazing Saddles
Emmanuelle
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Jaws
Smokey and the Bandit
Kramer vs. Kramer
The Amityville Horror
The Wanderers
Apocalypse Now
Grease
Saturday Night Fever
Superman
Every Which Way But Loose
National Lampoons Animal House
Hot bubble Gum
Lemon Popsicle
Porkies
The Warriors
St Elmos Fire
Flashdance
The Breakfast Club
About Last night
Weird Science

List is endless but Im tired and can not think!!

.....most of the above I have either on DVD or video

Given the sad demise of Chris Penn on Tue this week, I can't believe you didn't include "Footloose" in your list.

Candystripes, or is this the wrong thread for this sort of film, mind you, once you saw it, you didn't forget it. Happy days in the SIB block at Cav Barracks, when the woodentops used to be there
