Taxonomy of Sciences

Re the taxonomy of the disciplines in science (nat'l and social) IMO we are seeing a blurring of boundaries. For example 'emergent complexity can arise from simple interactions between agents following rules. The complexity that arises is suprising and challenges our assumptions about whether order comes from the top or the bottom. Life and consciousness are examples of emergent phenomena. Def neeed a section for compexity theory , chaos, A.I. Transhumanism etc Cutting edge stuff.

I only got up for an early morning trip to the loo and made the mistake of flicking the laptop on... ended up watching that video and as usual it snowballs. Emergence has always gripped my attention... we have no choices it appears. This series on BBC has some connection I'm sure.
Part 1 of 6...
