I've seen the 10.00 pm news and understand.

Highly ridiculous that her husband, The Speaker of The House of Commons, is reviewing MP's expenses and related matters! "Snouts in the trough" springs to mind along with Animal Farm!

At the risk of being wah'd (and showing my age) CO's drivers were used in just that way, for 'Official' dinners, and the admin that such required. You've surely served haven't you? :roll:

No it wasn't. It was one of the cushiest jobs I ever had!!
