A passenger in a taxi leaned forward and tapped the driver on the shoulder in order to ask the driver a question. The driver let out a terror-filled and blood âcurdling scream, lost control of the cab, nearly hit a bus, drove up over the curb. And for a few moments everything was silent in the cab. Finally, the driver, who was still very visibly shaken, said âIâm sorry, but you scared the daylights out of me. The equally startled and discombobulated passenger apologises to the driver saying that he did not realise that a mere tap of the shoulder could cause such terrible fright. The driver explained, âYou see, today is my first day in driving a cab. I have been driving a hearse for the last 23 years.
