  1. Hi all,

Bumped into an old chum tonight who is in receipt of a 20% weekly war pension. He also said that he's paying tax on his 22 year pension.

    Is this right...?

I always thought that if you qualified for a war pension and were in receipt of a tax free weekly payment that that also made your 22 year service pension tax free as well.

    Thanks in advance

    Yes it's right.
    War Pension. Non Taxable
    'Normal' 22 year pension. Taxable.
