Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Appreciate probably best in pprune, but if anyone is passing Tangmere on the A27 (by Chichester) then this museum is well worth a stop.

Small, but packed full of fascinating stuff, including Neville Duke's World Speed Record breaking red Hunter. Lots of interactive stuff for the kids to do and well worth 11.50 for adult and 2 kids.

Some lovely aircraft up close and things like cutaway engines which have been motorised so the kids can press a button and they start up (albeit with no JP4 rather an electric motor) and understand the concept etc.
