As the UK embraces itself for what many pundits predict will ba a summer jam packed with Brits that have decided that the honourable and most cost effective thing to do this year is to stay in good old 'cheap' blighty for that all important summer holiday, me thinks that stuff like this being fed into the media is all part of the grand plan to convince the population that they are indeed doing the right thing.

    Which, considering that for the last several years it just pisssed it down all summer, if it suceeds then it will go along way to highlight just how gulible the General Population really are.

    TAKE cover: heat waves are on the way. Despite the unusually cold winter the government has drawn up a national emergency plan to deal with the rising risk of extreme hot weather linked to climate change.

    Under the plan, people in areas hit by heat waves will be advised to stay indoors during the middle of the day — in effect, taking a siesta — and change out of formal clothing such as suits and avoid hot food.
