Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/tm_objectid=15631654%26method=full%26siteid=94762%26headline=swearing%2dtrooper-name_page.html

Yeah i know the Mirror, but if a taxi doesnt move from where he shouldnt even be then i can understand the abuse he got!
  2. Most cabbies can barely speak English anyway.. F*ck off can be easily understood no matter where you are from...
  3. "F*ck them and the taxi they rode in on"
  4. I hate cabbies, he should have just shot him and be done with it....
  5. "Trooper swears like Trooper" - truly headline news !.
  6. They misheard him. What he actually said was " Hai U Faark Hof yar kahn", which is Dutch for 'Just down there on the right, mate. You can't miss it".
  7. Shame it wasn't "Trooper Bayonets Cabbie saves Yanks from getting ripped off"
  8. That's nothing; I said the same thing in front of Aunty Betty no less and survived! We were escorting photographers at a parade in Paderborn and some mong of a Lt. Col pulled the rope we were using to control said hacks. The pack charged at the Sovereign and I uttered the dread phrase before giving one of them a right hook. That stopped them....it also stopped some guys in suits from pulling out whatever was under their jackets. Dunno how I got away with that one.
  9. Good drills  ... Got to admit a preference to the bayonet option though 8O f*rking cabbies... rip off c*nts all
